Delete your NotAWide account

In the app (quickest)

Open NotAWide, go to Menu → Account → Delete account, and follow the steps. It takes effect straight away.

Without the app

Email notawide.ops@gmail.com from any address with the subject “Delete my NotAWide account”, and tell us the phone number you signed in with. We will confirm it is your account by sending a code to that number, then delete it within 30 days and reply to say it is done.

What is deleted

Your profile: name, city, playing details and photo.
Your earned badges and your career page.
Your sign-in: nobody can find you or add you to a squad again.

What stays, and why

Scorecards of matches you played in stay, because a match belongs to everyone who played it. Your name on them becomes “Deleted player”.
Balls you scored stay part of those matches. The ball-by-ball record is never rewritten.
Teams you ran carry on and pass to another admin, the captain or the longest-standing member. No team is deleted.
